Gertrud and Malin came from Penguin Travel. They were walking these days -October 2009- in Maestrazgo region (Labyrinth of Silence). Very friendly people and I don’t know why but their smile sounds me like Beach Boys  song “God only knows”. For me one of the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard.

Travel Diary: Greetings from California

August 7, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Apologize for taking so long to thank you both for the wonderful walk we enjoyed in the Maestrazgo. It was indeed a labyrinth of silence (and of beauty). A self-guided walk provides just enough support to make a walk like this possible yet leaves so much of the discovery to the individual. We have shared some of the highlights (getting lost, the friendly villagers, the feeling of being back in time) with many friends.

Again many thanks,

Nancy and Tom Felling (California)

Maestrazgo: Labyrinth of Silince Spirit (Travel Diary-Reisgenoten)

June 7, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Good morning  Ignatio,

Hope all is well with you.  Well, we found our way back home without having to phone you, and in one piece, except of course for a few blisters!

We would like to thank you very much Ignatio for your kindness and patience and for helping us when we were in trouble.  You are such a lovely person and it is a pleasure to know you.

We had a wonderful adventure on our trek, everyone we met was so kind and the accommodation and food were excellent.  We find it difficult to put into words the way we felt when we looked over the beautiful scenery and felt that we were the only two people on earth.  We took lots of photos and are keeping an album to remind us of our journey.

Please keep in touch Ignatio, as we would love to hear how you are doing.

I forgot to thank you for your lovely gift.  We have clipped a photo of both of us in it as a wonderful reminder.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind regards

Margaret and Nick

NEW EXPERIENCE HOLIDAYS

Hi Ignacio,

yesterday (June 5, 2009) we came back to Germany but our minds are still full with impressions from Maestrazgo.

I have just had a look at my pictures which I took on our Maestrazgo tour from Molinos to Mirambel and I thought to smell the odour of the herbes again.  It was a wonderful holiday! Optimal weather, excellent accomodation, friendly peolpe, beautiful landscape and the silence: Everything was perfect.  We will come back for sure.

Thank you again for your excellent support and organization.

All the best to you.

See you

Antonia & Heinz

Hola Ignacio!

This sure is one loud voice from the labyrinth of silence! El rey del Maestrazgo…as a welcome home, this counts double. Your roots must lie with these valiant knights with long swords on strong horses defending their castles, I’m sure.

Thanks a lot and see you, insha alla…

Hallo Ignatio

Thank you very much for sending the email and the site.  Once again we have to say that we enjoyed our holiday very much and that we love the Maestragzo Region. We’ll recommend you and the region certainly to all our friends.

Best whishes

Helen and Dirk

Ola Ignacio
I hope everything is going well with you and your family. Next time you visit Antwerp I’ll buy a duvel or a bolleke…..
 warm greetings
Suzy

Christmas in Pitarque (April 2009)

April 21, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Buenas Dias Ignacio,
In the meanwhile we are at home in Amersfoort. We had a great time in the Maestrazgo and later on in Barcelona. The days walking were great, but we regret the days we were inclined to stay more or less inside. The city-life in the Maestrazgo was lively, but the cities are not so big :-)
Nature is beautiful in the area.
Again: a lot of thanks for the nice time

Training in Spanje. Zin in leven en werk

October 5, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Everything went very well and everybody was very happy with the training course and the walking. The participants praised the accommodations, the food, the excellent organisation, the transfers etc. So I think you did a great job. Many thanks for your help and support, also on behalf of Margriet. Please also tell Raquel that we very much appreciated her help.

Op lemen voeten:tijdschrift voor wandelaars

March 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Spanje. Gekruide tochten

February 5, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Op stap door de Maestrazgo.

….een vergeten en ruw stukje Spanje. De aanloop nemen we in Valencia en afronden doen we in Teruel, bij Diego en Isabel: meer dan 800 jaar oud en nog verliefd.
